Closing the Homework Gap
Sprint and the
Sprint Foundation have launched the
1Million Project, a multiyear initiative to offer
free mobile devices and
free high-speed wireless internet connectivity to 1 million low-income high school students lacking a reliable source of internet access at home. The expansive new program will help eliminate the “homework gap” that puts these students at a major disadvantage because they don’t have ready access to the internet needed for completing homework, communicating with teachers, or applying for jobs, scholarships, or college. Sprint is now accepting applications for the second year of the 1Million Project, which starts at the beginning of the 2018 - 2019 school year and runs for four years. High schools and school districts can earn a spot in the program by
applying online.

This year Deb is giving back with Design for Donation.
