Conversations with African American STEM Professionals

The National Museum of African American History and Culture invites middle and high school students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through the Window and into the Mirror is a video conversation series about the experiences of African American STEM professionals today.

Virtual Architectural Tour and Design Challenge

P
A virtual field trip to Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterwork, takes students on a real-life experience at a famous building on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Fallingwater’s education team leads an interactive look at the interior of the structure, along with a workshop for students connecting learning about this masterwork to lessons in fine art, science, mathematics, history, and language arts.

College and Career Preparation Tools to Bridge the Equity Gap

Students of color aspiring for the college of their dreams, now have a new resource to amplify their success. An app by nonprofit College Thriver Education aims to bridge the equity gap for students of color in grades 6–12 by connecting them to timely college and career preparation tools and resources through technology.
