Purpose

VSTE is an organization that values human differences and welcomes diverse voices that help us serve our membership, students, and teachers across the Commonwealth better. This committee seeks to honor and amplify the voices and work of all Virginia educators.

Goals

• Through targeted outreach and professional learning opportunities, the members seek to give their time to make a concerted effort to level the playing field and welcome new voices.

Current Work

The committee is currently working to clearly understand where the organization currently is with it's work in Diversity and Equity to provide the foundation for future work coming soon.
