Samsung Solve for Tomorrow — $2 Million in Prizes
Each year Samsung holds a national competition for public schools, grades 6–12, in which students are asked to consider how technology and STEM can be used to create change in their communities. With the help of their teachers, students can apply to the contest and compete to win up to $100,000 in prizes for their school, plus the opportunity to work with Samsung employees to develop their prototypes and pitch their idea to a panel of judges in New York City. Three National Winner schools will each receive a $100,000 prize package; 10 National Finalist schools, a $50,000 prize package; and 100 State Winner schools, a $6,500 prize package. All prize packages include Samsung products and classroom resources.
