Drive Student Success Through Technology
As the online teaching and learning environment continues to evolve, schools are looking for technology leaders to more effectively engage learners, increase performance, and improve the quality of learning experiences for their students. Penn State World Campus, in collaboration with Penn State College of Education, offers a 30-credit master’s degree in learning, design, and technology. This completely online program can prepare you to leverage emerging educational technology to shape learning in the future.
Penn State World Campus also offers three online postbaccalaureate certificate programs in educational technology integration (15 credits), e-learning design (12 credits), and teaching and learning online in K–12 settings (15 credits). Credits successfully earned in any of these programs will count toward the requirements of the MEd in Learning, Design, and Technology, if you apply and are accepted into the program.

Become an Expert in Online Learning

Earn your Master’s in Instructional Technology and integrate forward-thinking technology trends into your curriculum through The University of Alabama (BAMA by Distance). Course concepts include adaptive and assistive technologies, assessment and evaluation in instructional technology, and online teaching and learning. Electives are also available in game-based learning, as well as other special topics. The program is entirely online, and you’ll study under the same expert faculty who teach on the university’s main campus. The degree is identical to a main campus degree, but it is less expensive because of the affordable distance tuition rate.

Building Science Literacy with Technology

Nationally, English learners (ELs) make up nearly 10 percent of preK–12 classrooms and almost 15 percent of urban classrooms, and these numbers are on the rise, according to research by the National Center for Education Statistics. Many supports are available for ELs, but the elementary science materials available are disproportionately directed toward grade-level readers.
