Many educators leading keyboarding, computer applications, marketing and digital input classes have found this program to be an engaging and helpful resource. VSTE celebrated the first Digital Learning Day throughout the day on February 1, 2012. We sponsored a series of webinars co-hosted with the Virginia Department of Education that featured a few regional educational technology leadership award winners talking about digital learning initiatives at their schools:
10 AM Ena Wood, Arlington Public Schools Archive
2 PM David Rankin, Chesterfield Public Schools Archive
7 PM Gigi Badawi, Chesapeake Public Schools, followed by a conversation about Mobile Learning with the officers of our Mobile Learning SIG Archive
Thanks to Adobe for their support of the VSTELive! webinar series!
You might also consider getting involved in Digital Learning Day in other ways including making a video with your students talking about what digital learning means. Post a photo to flickr that shows innovation. Tweet your ideas or post to the VSTE Facebook page. Whatever you do, be sure to use the hashtag #vadlday.
